Floyd Memorial Library

The Children’s Room has materials in many formats for children aged 0-12, in English as well as in Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian, and Hebrew. We also have a collection on child rearing and development, for parents, teachers and caregivers.

We offer activities for children, free of charge. Programs include live performances, films, nature presentations, crafts, and more.  A program designed for toddlers and a caregiver is offered on a weekly basis. Most programs require registration. All events and details are listed in the library newsletter.

We have 4 computers designated for children 12 years of age and younger, each with a variety of educational games. All children’s computers have internet access. Adults who accompany children to the library can request a laptop at the Circulation Desk for use in the Children’s Room.
