Exhibition overview: At the Station: Celebrating the Greenport Fire Department (Dec. 6, 2024 – Jan. 26, 2025) embraces the tongue-in-cheek nature of the calendar. Alongside David’s photos, printed as posters you might find in a games or recreation room, the library’s gallery will be fitted out with props in keeping with such an off-duty space. Accompanying this lighthearted staging will be displays on the history of the fire department and on the brave endeavors of this all-volunteer organization, which celebrates its 180th anniversary in 2025.
